Flower Power and No Shoes,
Mark di Suvero
Project Management
During the 1967 International Sculptural Symposium, several prominent artists constructed works in Toronto’s High Park. Unfortunately, over decades Mark di Suvero’s Flower Power and No Shoes fell into disrepair. Working closely with di Suvero and private developer Concord Adex, we removed the artworks from site, shipped them to the artist’s studio for rehabilitation, and then reinstalled them at two new sites. I was part of the delegation to propose the project to the artist, project managed the artwork’s removal and reinstallation, and coordinated digital content production.
